SDS1204X-E Super Phosphor Oscilloscope
The SDS1000X-E Series employs a new generation of SPO (Super-Phosphor Oscilloscope) technology that provides excellent signal fidelity and performance. It comes with a minimum vertical input range of 500 uV/div, an digital trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter, and a waveform capture rate of 400,000 frames/sec (sequence mode). The series also employs a 256-level intensity grading display function, color temperature display mode and supports multiple powerful triggering modes including serial bus triggering.
The X-E models also include History waveform recording, and sequential triggering that enable extended waveform recording and analysis. Another powerful addition is the new 1 million points FFT math function that gives very high frequency resolution when observing signal spectra. The new digital design also includes a hardware co-processor that delivers measurements quickly and accurately without slowing acquisition and front-panel response.

Revolution in Data Analysis Processing
True Measurement to 14 M Points
Measure all sampled data points up to 14 Mpts which ensures the accuracy of measurements while the math co-processor decreases measurement time.
1 M Point Used to Calculate the FFT
The math co-processor enables FFT analysis up to 1M samples per waveform giving a high-frequency resolution with a fast refresh rate. FFT also supports Peaks, Markers, and a variety of numbers and window functions.
Gate and Zoom Measurement
Through Gate and Zoom measurement, the user can specify an arbitrary interval of waveform data analysis and statistics.
Serial Bus Decoding Function (Standard)
SDS1204X-E displays the decoding through the events list. Bus protocol information can be quickly and intuitively displayed in a tabular format.
Search and Navigate (4 CH Models Only)
The SDS1204X-E can search events specified by the user in a frame. It can also navigate by time (delay position) and historical frames.
Power Loop Response Analysis
Siglent offers a powerful solution for stability measurement: signal-source-based power loop analysis using the standard, free Bode Plot II software. This tool provides enhanced measurement sensitivity and accuracy, a variable excitation scan mode, and a user-friendly interface. It also includes intuitive list and cursor-based measurement features for easier data interpretation.
Bode Plot on 4 CH Models Only
The 4-channel models like SDS1204X-E in the SDS1000X-E series can control either a USB AWG module or an independent SIGLENT SDG instrument. They are capable of scanning a device’s amplitude and phase frequency response and displaying the results as a Bode Plot. Additionally, the Vari-level Mode enables precise measurement of Power Supply Control Loop Response (PSRR). These models can also generate result lists and export data directly to a USB drive.


Remote Control via Web Pages or Mobile Phone
With built-in Web Server, there is no need to install driver software and PC software. You can control the instrument, observe waveforms, obtain measurement results using the browser remotely. Especially when instruments used in high pressure, high temperature and other special environments. The SDS1000X-E supports both web and mobile web layouts, making it easier to control the instrument even on your phone.
Optional Add-Ons For The SDS1204X-E (Sold Separately)
16 Digital Channels / MSO
The 16-channel MSO (Mixed Signal Oscilloscope) option enables users to acquire and trigger on digital waveforms, then analyze signal patterns—all using a single instrument. This functionality requires SDS1000X-E-16LA activation license and the SLA1016 logic probe.
USB AWG Module (SAG1021I & SDS1000X-E-FG software)
The four channel series supports a USB 25 MHz function/arbitrary waveform generator that is operated from the USB host connection. Functions include Sine, Square, Ramp, Pulse, Noise, DC and 45 built-in waveforms. The arbitrary waveforms can be accessed and edited by the SIGLENT EasyWave PC software.
