FLUKE-87V/IMSK Kit Overview
This combo kit is built around the Fluke 87V, the most widely used industrial DMM, combined with the i400 AC current clamp. Together they provide the resolution and accuracy to efficiently troubleshoot any electrical system. The kit includes special accessories to make you even more productive on the job and will save over 15% compared with the individually priced items.
About the 87V Digital Multimeter
Designed for troubleshooting motor drives, plant automation, power distribution, and electromechanical equipment, the Fluke 87V DMM provides precise readings even in noisy, high-energy environments. This multimeter features True-RMS AC voltage and current measurement for reliable results on non-linear signals. Its low-pass filter enables accurate frequency measurements on variable frequency drives (VFD), while the peak capture function detects intermittent events as fast as 250 µS. One advantage of the Fluke 87V is its ability to take measurements on the output side of the drive—either directly at the drive or at the motor terminals.
Built to Highest Safety Standards
All the inputs in the Fluke 87V are EN 61010-1 to CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V. The meter is designed to withstand spikes of more than 8000 V. You also benefit from an audible Input Alert warning if the test leads are placed in the incorrect input jacks for the measurement being made.
Convenient 87V Holster with Built-in Storage
The 87V has a removeable holster that also holds a test probe during testing for easier viewing. Relative mode lets you remove test lead resistance, improving accuracy of low-resistance measurements. To make your life even easier, the 87V fits into an optional magnetic hanger (TPAK) for easy set-up and viewing while freeing your hands for other tasks.

Display Features
- Positive or negative slope indicator for Hz/duty cycle triggering
- Continuity beeper is on
- Relative (REL) mode is active
- Smoothing is active
- Indicates negative readings. In relative mode, this sign indicates that the present input is less than the stored reference
- Indicates the presence of a high voltage input. Appears if the input voltage is 30 V or greater (ac or dc). Also appears in low pass filter mode. Also appears in cal, Hz, and duty cycle modes
- AutoHOLD is active
- Display Hold is active
- Peak Min Max mode and the response time is 250 μs

Fluke 80 Series V Multimeters
The 80 Series V, available in three models, incorporates the trusted features of today's most popular Fluke digital multimeters. Designed for enhanced precision and reliability, these models offer improved measurement capabilities, troubleshooting functions, and greater resolution and accuracy. Industrial electricians around the world trust the Fluke 83V Industrial Multimeter from the control room to the plant floor. The True-RMS Fluke 87V and the 87V Max feature a specialized function for precise voltage and frequency measurements, even in electrically noisy environments such as adjustable-speed motor drives. Additionally, they both feature a built-in thermometer allowing for convenient temperature readings without requiring a separate device.
