FLUKE-754 Documenting Process Calibrator with HART
The Fluke 754 is a rugged, handheld multifunction calibrator designed to streamline your workflow by combining sourcing, simulating, and measuring capabilities for pressure, temperature, and electrical signals—all in one device. Its built-in HART interface eliminates the need for a separate communicator, allowing you to perform nearly all routine HART tasks with ease. That means less gear to carry, faster setups, and more efficient field operations.
With simultaneous source and measure functionality, the 754 covers all common process parameters you encounter daily. It automates calibration procedures, captures data for documentation, and helps ensure compliance with standards like ISO 9000, FDA, EPA, and OSHA.
The calibrator features a new graphical display, a long-lasting Li-ion battery, and a USB port for seamless PC connectivity. Easily download procedures, upload data for analysis or archiving, and integrate with popular instrumentation management software. Enhanced accessories round out the package, making the 754 a powerful, versatile tool for professionals who demand accuracy and efficiency.

What is HART?
HART is the Highway Addressable Remote Transducer protocol. It uses a 1200 baud Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) signal to superimpose digital information on the conventional 4-20 mA analog signal.
Why Use the HART Protocol?
HART is an industry standard developed to define the communications protocol between intelligent field devices and a control system, HART is the most widely used digital communication protocol in the process industry. More than five million HART field instruments are installed in more than 100,000 plants worldwide.
HART Capabilities:
Requires no external box or second tool for HART calibration and maintenance.
Universal, Common practice and Device-specific commands:
Interrogate to determine device type, manufacturer, model, and tag.
Works with multiple masters, burst mode, and multi-drop configurationsSupports popular models of HART transmitters, with more devise-specific command support than any other HART field calibrator.
Is easy to update as additional instruments are added and new HART versions are released.
Reconfigure the sensor mapping of dual sensor temperature transmitters.
Read HART PV function and smart transmitter digital output while measuring analog mA output.
Read and write HART configuration functions to make field adjustments to PV range points, damping, and other top-level configuration settings.
Re-label smart transmitters by reading and writing to the HART tag field.

Port Connections:
HART jack
Pressure module connector
TC input/output
MEASURE V jacks
SOURCE mA, MEASURE mA Ω RTD jacks
SOURCE V Ω RTD jacks
Battery Charger jack
USB port (Type 2)

Button Functions:
Turns the Product on and off.
Selects mA (current) measure or source function. For loop power on/off, go to the Setup mode.
Selects the dc voltage function in MEASURE mode, or selects dc voltage in SOURCE mode.
Selects TC (thermocouple) or RTD (resistance temperature detector) measurement or sourcing functions.
Selects the pressure measurement or source function.
Softkeys. Does the function specified by the label above each softkey on the display.
Adjusts the backlight intensity (three levels).
Enters and exits Setup mode to change operating parameters.
(754) Toggles between HART communication mode and analog operation. In calculator mode, this key supplies the square root function.
Make choices from lists on the display. In calculator mode, provides arithmetic functions.
Clears a partial data entry, or prompts for output value when in the SOURCE mode.
Completes a numeric entry when a source value is set, or confirms a choice in a list.
Toggles between resistance and continuity functions in MEASURE mode, or selects the resistance function in SOURCE mode.
Toggles between ac voltage and frequency functions in MEASURE mode, or selects frequency output in SOURCE mode.
Used when a numeric entry is necessary.
Cycles the Product through MEASURE, SOURCE, and MEASURE/SOURCE modes.
Go Paperless—Automatically Record and Document
Fluke 750SW DPC/TRACK 2 software features a built-in instrumentation database that simplifies the management of your equipment. It allows you to create and schedule tests, transfer data to and from the Fluke 753 or 754, generate various standard reports, and oversee calibration records.
You can automate the printing of standard reports. The software compiles ready-made reports directly from your database, helping you save time and minimize mistakes. These reports may include calibration certificates, upcoming calibration schedules, equipment inventory details, calibration history, procedures used, and traceability of instrument interactions.

Complete Solution for HART Device Maintenance
The Fluke 154 HART Calibration Assistant (sold separately) is a full HART communication tool that provides HART support for the balance of the HART workload not covered by the 754. The 154 is a self-contained HART communication tool that operates on a tablet. The tablet, equipped with the "FlukeHART" mobile app, uses a wireless HART modem to directly connect to the HART transmitter that is being tested or configured. When you pair your Fluke 154 HART Calibration Assistant with a Fluke 750 Series Documenting Process Calibrator or a 720 Series Multifunction Process Calibrator, you get a comprehensive HART calibration and configuration solution.
