The Megger S1-1568 Insulation Resistance Tester, featuring a 15 kV rating, is designed for high performance and durability. Rated at CAT IV 1000 V up to 4000 meters, it boasts a dual case design with a robust outer shell to withstand knocks and drops, and a fire-retardant inner case for added safety.

Focusing on productivity, the tester offers rapid charge batteries and can operate from an AC source when the battery is flat. Its intuitive user interface ensures ease of use, eliminating downtime spent on relearning the device. The simplicity of operation is enhanced by two rotary switches and a large backlit display, allowing multiple results to be viewed simultaneously.

In insulation test mode, the device provides five preset voltage ranges per function, along with a user-settable lock voltage range. It includes preconfigured diagnostic tests such as Polarisation Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), Dielectric Discharge (DD), Stepped Voltage (SV), and Ramp test.

Advanced memory storage capabilities feature time/date stamping of results, data logging, and recall of results to the screen. Data transfer is secure and efficient through a fully isolated USB interface or an on-board Bluetooth interface.
