- PARAGON 1/4" X 2-1/4" Plug Style Tips developed for use with 3112 Series Pencil Irons and 94000 Series light-Duty Irons. The working surface is pre-tinned with lead-free solder for RoHS compliance.
- Machined from solid tellurium copper to provide the fastest thermal transfer from heating element to work surface and provide substantial heat reserves for continuous soldering.
- Iron-Clad and Nickel and Chrome plating means the Paragon tips will consistently outlast and outperform ordinary soldering iron tips many times over.
Paragon plug style tips undergo a multitude of processes that include iron cladding, nickel plating, chrome coating and pre-tinning. Each process is conducted in a clean environment to prevent contamination and ensure proper material adherence. This creates a soldering tip that provides optimal performance over a long life span.
Tips and Tricks While Paragon tips incorporate features to ensure long life and "anti-seize" performance, there is no substitute for maintaining a tips cleanliness for continued performance.
Frequently Clean the working area by wiping with a damp cellulose sponge or similar cleaner and reapply fresh solder.
Regularly remove the tip (the iron must be cool) from the iron and lightly abrade the shank with light steel wool, high grit Emory cloth or similar mildly abrasive materials.
Return the tip to the iron after cleaning and ensure it is fully seated into the heating element.
