Nordbak High Impact Wearing Compound is a two-component, rubber-modified epoxy that offers the wear resistance properties of an epoxy along with impact resistance not usually found in epoxy formulations. With impact resistance superior to ceramic tile, High Impact Wearing Compound is recommended for lining and protecting flumes, troughs, elbows, hoppers, discharge chutes, and other processing equipment that is exposed to both abrasion and impact under typical dry service temperatures of –29 deg to +121 deg C (–20 deg to +250 deg F). Advantages:
Features:
- Cures to ceramic hardness-resists sliding abrasive wear
- Won't sag or shrink-conforms to over-head and irregular surfaces, application versatility
- Renews worn surfaces fast-reduces downtime
