The CAF™ brand was created over 60 years ago and has become a benchmark in industrial RTV-1 (Room Temperature Vulcanizing-1) silicones, invented in our Saint Fons plant in France in 1959. This invention was followed by the creation of Accelerated RTV-1 technology in the 1970's, sold under the CAF™ AXAD brand.

This is a versatile two-component room temperature vulcanizing silicone elastomer, ideal for sealing and bonding in applications such as household appliances and glass bonding, offering quick curing without acetic acid release, excellent adhesion, and resistance.
