The Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE Digimatic ID-S indicators are highly accurate and easy to use for measuring short linear distances in many different applications. Measurements are shown on an impact-resistant LCD display.

The Mitutoyo ABS digital ID-S digital indicators provide up to a 12.7mm / .5" range in a compact design that is easy to use and read. Large push buttons provide direct, easy access to all of the indictor’s functions, and readings are shown on a large 9mm LCD display. The ABSOLUTE sensor automatically restores the last origin position when the indicator is turned on, allowing for quick-start operation which is useful in multipoint measurements.

ABS (Absolute) Sensor
Digimatic indicators employ Mitutoyo’s proprietary ABS (absolute) sensor, which automatically restores the origin point even if the power is turned off. This eliminates the need to reset the origin each time the unit is turned on. Unlimited response speed eliminates over-speed errors.

Measurement Data Output
These indicators have a measurement data output socket, which makes it possible to output Digimatic data to the DP-1VR mini processor or to a PC through an input tool. Furthermore, the U-WAVE measurement data wireless communication system can be used to wirelessly input measurement data to a PC.

Dimensions of the inch (ANSI/AGD Type) dial indicator partly differ from those of the metric (ISO/JIS Type) indicator. Inch (ANSI/AGD Type) dial indicators are provided with a stem of 3/8in dia. and #4-48UNF thread mount for the contact point.
