Versatile EDSYN 971HAe Hot Air Station

The EDSYN 971HAe SMT hot air station can be used for both hot-air and contact soldering applications. The lightweight design and small footprint make it portable, taking up less space on the workbench. Created for RoHS and lead-free applications, it is powerful enough to handle heavy duty and multi-layer boards due to the high output PTC heating element.

The versatile hand tool is designed to easily navigate densely populated boards using either hot air or contact rework methods without having to change irons. Displays in both Fahrenheit and Celsius with precise temperature regulation. Delivers fast heat up, accuracy and recovery times. Requires shop air or nitrogen (20-80 psi). Adjustable airflow provides precise application of hot air and the automatic shut-off valve turns the air off when the hand-piece is placed back in the holder. Controls are easy to manage with simple on/off switch, temperature control and pump activation switch for the air.

The removable tool pod reduces the amount of energy needed to maintain the set temperature when the station is at rest and is designed to stop air circulating around the tip to reduce oxidation and prolong the life of the tip. A wide selection of tips and nozzles for both hot-air and contact rework are available to suit every application. Comes with a detachable modular sponge tray that can be stored when its not needed. Illuminated display visibly indicates whether the tool is on or off. Manufactured in California and backed by an 18-month warranty.
