This Category 1 ESD coat is made of “Nylostat” fabric, which is a medium weight poly/cotton woven fabric. This garment is ideal where solder splash and heavy soil is an issue. It provides a static shield as well as excellent protection for personal clothing worn under this coat.
The 371ACK is a knee-length coat made of the heavier Nylostat fabric, which is not suitable for grounding, but is intended for less sensitive applications, and in conditions where solder-splash is a concern. The hip-length jacket version of this garment is the 361ACK.
