This Category 1 ESD coat is made of “Nylostat” fabric, which is a medium weight poly/cotton woven fabric. This garment is ideal where solder splash and heavy soil is an issue. It provides a static shield as well as
excellent protection for personal clothing worn under this coat.
The 371ACS is a knee-length coat made of the heavier Nylostat fabric, which is ideal for high-wear conditions or where solder-splash is a concern, and for less sensitive ESD applications. The hip-length jacket version of this garment is the 361ACS.
