ESD brushes are ideal for removing dust, dirt, and foreign object debris (FOD) from printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other static-sensitive components, allowing thorough cleaning of ESD-sensitive assemblies without the risk of high electrostatic charges; they feature high-quality, permanently dissipative bristles made of type 6.12 Nylon filament that prevent coating or peeling of the dissipative additive, a conductive carbon-loaded polypropylene handle, and are highly resilient, durable, abrasion-resistant, IPA-compatible, hot stamped with the ESD protective symbol, and equipped with yellow bristles for high visibility to avoid FOD, with dissipative fibers recommended where Charged Device Model (CDM) failures are a concern.
