Optical Power Meter to Improve Fiber Testing

The SimpliFiber Pro meter features the ability to store a reference power level, enabling a direct display of fiber loss. It also includes an intuitive four‑button control panel, a large LCD screen, and a serial port. A single connector design allows simple network connection and straightforward reference power measurement. Time-saving capabilities such as CheckActive, FindFiber, and Min/Max make SimpliFiber Pro one of the best meters on the market. The SimpliFiber Pro Optical Power Meter is calibrated for accuracy at six different wavelengths (850, 1300, 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625). The meter’s single connector permits simple network connection and straightforward reference power measurement. The multimode source (right) is a dual wavelength 850/1300 source and incorporates an 850 nm LED and a 1300 nm LED.

Verify and Locate Faults with VisiFault Locator

The laser‑powered VisiFault Visual Fault Locator verifies continuity and polarity, helps identify breaks and bends in fiber cables, and pinpoints issues in connectors and splices by emitting a bright red light visible from a distance. By connecting VisiFault to one end of a fiber, technicians can quickly locate the matching fiber at the far end and perform simple end‑to‑end continuity checks. It illuminates breaks, damaged connectors, defective splices, and tight bends, and offers both continuous‑wave and flashing modes for easier fault detection. A universal 2.5 mm adapter supports SC, ST, FC, and FJ connectors, while an optional 1.25 mm adapter accommodates LC and MU connectors. Designed for convenience, VisiFault can be carried on a belt via lanyard or case, and its two included AA batteries provide more than 80 hours of continuous operation.

FindFiber for Fast Cable-Routing Identification

FindFiber Remote ID enables one individual to quickly identify cable connections or routings (especially useful at patch panels), eliminating the need for multiple technicians on opposite ends of a fiber link to match color combinations.
