The Fluke Networks MT‑8200‑49A MicroMapper is a compact, handheld tester designed to help network technicians quickly confirm the integrity of Ethernet twisted‑pair cabling. With a single press of the TEST button, it automatically checks all wire pairs and identifies issues such as opens, shorts, crossed wires, reversed pairs, and split pairs. It also features a built‑in tone generator compatible with the IntelliTone Probe and other analog probes, making it easy to trace cables through walls, floors, and ceilings. For added convenience, the MicroMapper includes a remote unit that allows one person to test installed cabling or patch cords without assistance.
