Complete Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Testing Solution
The addition of 6- and 8-channel oscilloscopes along with optical isolation probes completes the toolkit for testing wide bandgap semiconductors. These oscilloscopes feature picosecond-level rise times, allowing precise capture of the rapid waveforms produced by SiC and GaN devices. The SDS5000X HD is a benchtop oscilloscope featuring a 12.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, optional 16 digital channels, and a user-friendly interface designed for direct interaction in lab environments. In contrast, the SDS5000L is a modular, rackmount version with no built-in display or digital channels, optimized for scalable multi-channel systems and automated test setups. It supports external display and mouse input and can be synchronized with up to 64 modules (via SYN64) for systems with up to 512 channels, making it ideal for distributed data acquisition.
