The Next Generation Soldering Station from Hakko
The FX-972 is a next-generation, high-performance 200W soldering station that supports a wide variety of new handpieces, drawing on the best features of the FM-203. Designed with a compact footprint, it allows for easy stacking of multiple units to save bench space. The station also features a new, easy-to-read display that is over three times larger than the FM-203's, simultaneously showing both the set temperature and the sensor temperature. Additionally, the LCD screen dynamically shows icons representing the specific handpiece connected, providing users with a quick visual identification of the active tool.
In The World of Precision Soldering, Every Degree Matters
The interface has been completely redesigned to be intuitive, incorporating new features like an IR receiver that wirelessly receives tip-off settings from the FG-100B Tip Thermometer or FG-101B Station Tester. It also includes a preset mode for selecting up to 5 user-programmable presets, a 3-letter passcode lock for process control, and a user-selectable sleep temperature setting.

Unleash the Power of the FX-972 with Hakko Control Software
The HAKKO FX-972 includes a USB interface that allows the station to be set up, controlled, and monitored from a PC using the HAKKO Control Software that is included with the station.
The Hakko Control Software enables operators to store and load multiple parameter settings for enhanced process control, allowing them to configure profiles, parameters, and tip temperatures. With the updated software, operators can also record tip temperature data, track tip offset measurements, and view real-time temperature graphs directly from a PC.
