Our Pro Industrial tips are iron-chrome plated to withstand long periods of soldering time. More specifically, the copper shell is iron plated to resist erosion, chromium plated to resist corrosion and tinned to provide efficient heat transfer. These processes maximize tip life for extended usages.

NOTE: This tip will not work in the Pro 50 or Pro 70.
