Excelta LazerLine Diagonal Cutters

Get your hands on cutting-edge precision with Excelta’s LazerLine cutters! These cutters are CNC-machined from premium AISI 52/100 carbon tool steel, hardened to RHC 63-65 specifications for a precision cutting edge. The handles are equipped with comfortable ESD grips featuring TealShield™ antimicrobial additives. The cutter action is smooth and predictable thanks to the dual leaf spring design.

Head Shapes

Oval Head — The oval head is the most common for cutting tools because it puts a substantial amount of metal behind the entire length cutting edge, for an extremely long tool life.

Tapered Head — A more pointed head allows the cutting tool to get into “hard to reach” areas where the oval head cannot make a precise cut. With less metal reinforcement, the tool life is slightly reduced.

Tapered/Relieved Head — For the tightest “hard to reach” areas, this design trades off additional metal reinforcement allowing even greater access

Cut Types

Semi-Flush cutters have a cutting edge with a .010” bevel, which allows for a longer cutting life, but leaves a ‘pinch’ on the lead/wire.

Optimum-Flush cutters have a cutting edge with a .005” bevel, which produces a smaller ‘pinch’ on the lead/wire than a semi-flush cutter, with a shorter cutting life than a semi-flush cutter.

Lazer-Flush cutters are extremely sharp with no bevel. These produce a pure, clean cut with no ‘pinch’ on the lead/wire. Cutting life is once again reduced over either of the above.
