Optical fiber preparation fluid is engineered to provide a non-flammable, environmentally-safe alternative for cleaning fibers prior to termination or fusion splicing and for cleaning connector end-faces after polishing. Cleans connector end-faces after polishing better than IPA and the solvent "squeaks" when the fiber is clean. This excellent cleaner will solubilize light oils and fingerprint salts; the dense solvent floats particulate off surfaces and is electrically conductive; it dissipates the electrostatic bonds which "lock" dust and particulates to end-faces.
