Overview of the IRTC450

The Triplett Model IRTC450 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera is designed for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting across various applications, including electrical and HVAC systems, mechanical failures, water leaks, moisture accumulation, heat loss from poor insulation or faulty windows/doors, automotive diagnostics, and other scenarios where detecting hidden leaks or hot spots is essential.

This thermal imager features a built-in 2MP visible light camera, offering multiple display modes: Infrared, Visible Light, Picture-in-Picture, and Fusion. Its infrared sensor provides a 256 × 192 pixel (49,152) thermal resolution with ≤50mk thermal sensitivity (NETD), and displays center spot plus automatic hot/cold markers on a 2.4 inch (61mm) color screen with 320 × 240 resolution.

Additional capabilities include automatic fusion for IR/visible image blending, an intuitive menu available in six languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Chinese), real-time clock/calendar, and auto power-off (with disable option). Users can review images (.jpg/.HRI) and videos (.mp4) in the onboard gallery or transfer files to a PC via USB.
