TERMS, CONDITIONS & NOTICESPrices in this catalog are effective January 1, 2008. While we attempt to hold prices, we cannot control when our vendors increase prices. 2. TAXES:
State sales tax will appear on all shipments to the following states unless a signed official state tax exemption certificate is furnished to Techni-Tool: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ , NY, OH, PA, TX, VA, WA, % based on your location.
3. QUOTATIONS:
All written quotations are valid for thirty days from day of issuance — unless specifically stated in writing. Quotations, after being accepted, will be subject to credit approval before shipment. We reserve the right to correct typographical errors in quotations.
4. MINIMUM ORDER: $50.00. NOTE: Administrative fee of $10.00 will be added to orders under the minimum order amount of $50.00.

Techni-Tool offers only the best products from the finest manufacturers. Each new product passes a quality control checklist, to assure you receive the high quality product you’ve come to expect. For internal quality control and training we periodically monitor phone calls to provide the best service.
7. HAZ-MAT SHIPPING:
All products marked with a Hazardous Materials symbol 
must be shipped via ground carrier and incur an additional per shipment surcharge.
Products marked with a no airplane symbol 
must be shipped via ground carrier but do not incur an additional shipment surcharge. We strongly suggest you purchase in case quantities to minimize your cost. HAZ-MAT items are NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-REturnable!
8. OPEN ACCOUNT BILLING TERMS:
Thirty Days Net - subject to credit approval. Companies wishing to receive open terms should forward three trade references and one bank reference. Allow one week to clear. To avoid shipping delay until credit is approved, companies and individuals should use a credit card.
9. SHIPPING:
All shipments are F.O.B., Worcester, PA, USA, unless agreed to in writing. Unless instructed, we reserve the right to pack and ship your order in the most economical way. Our primary carrier is United Parcel Service. (UPS®)
95% of all items in stock ship within four hours of receipt of your order. Place your air orders by 5:30pm EST; ground orders by 5:00pm EST; and credit card orders by 5:00pm EST, and we will ship them the same day (established account required) via UPS® (unless specified otherwise). For faster service, we offer UPS Next Day Air® and 2nd Day Air®. Ask your representative about specific information and charges.
10. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS AND CLAIMS:
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt. Although Techni-Tool takes every reasonable precaution to assure the safe arrival of your shipment, accidents or problems occasionally occur. All claims must be made within ten days of date of shipment. If there is a problem, please notify the carrier immediately for inspection.
11. UNCLAIMED PROPERTY AGREEMENT:
An integral part of our terms of sale include the agreement that any property or credits that remain unclaimed after two years belong to Techni-Tool, Inc. Customers waive any and all rights to claim such amounts after this two year period of time.
All standard Techni-Tool products are backed by our unconditional pledge: “If, within thirty days, you are not satisfied with any product purchased (except haz-mat, custom or special order items), you may return it for replacement, credit or refund, exclusive of shipping charges.”
To return a product, simply call 800-832-4866 or 610-941-2400 for a return authorization number. There is no restocking fee, except as noted, if products are returned in saleable condition within thirty days. (Do not write anything on the manufacturer’s original packaging or use as a shipping carton. Include all accessories, manuals and warranties.) Please include a copy of the packing list or invoice with a reason for the return. Late returns and incomplete returns will incur a 15%, or higher, restocking fee. We reserve the right not to accept returns after ninety days. Your return authorization number is valid for thirty days.
13. LEASING:
Techni-Tool offers leasing through a recognized third party leasing company. The minimum lease is $1,000.00, for one to five year periods. Rates, lease terms and conditions, buy out options, credit disclosures, credit terms,
pre-payments, etc., are solely between the lessor and lessee. For additional information, please call one of our customer service representatives.

We ship products to over 100 countries around the world. Metric size tools and 230-volt electrical equipment are available. Our staff of multi-lingual export professionals are ready to serve you. Payment can be made by credit card, irrevocable letters of credit or wire transfer. Duty, taxes and freight are extra.

15. MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES:
No liability is assumed for any consequential damages resulting from the use of a product. Techni-Tool is not responsible nor warrants any product for merchantability nor fitness for a particular purpose. Warranties by the manufacturer, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are the sole responsibility of the provider.
16. WARNING:
Certain products, when used for soldering and similar applications, produce chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm, including: solders and/or fluxes; soldering irons; guns; heat guns; tips, etc.; butane soldering irons, including butane.
