The speed shifting control is positioned front to back and has positive detent stops so you can easily shift between various speeds. A two-collar design lets you switch drilling modes without changing the clutch setting. A high-power, high-efficiency frameless motor delivers increased performance for drilling and fastening applications. The 1/2" chuck self-tightens to prevent bits from slipping and has twice the bit holding strength of traditional ratcheting chucks (18V model). Drill has 30 percent more runtime than previous XRP™ drills.
